About Me
Charlotte Musgrove Psychotherapy & Counselling

“Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me, and which truly expresses me?”
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
― Carl R. Rogers

Hello, I’m Charlotte

I am a qualified and passionate Humanistic Counsellor.

I chose to retrain as a Counsellor in 2017. My background was in hospitality, an industry that cultivated empathy and understanding for many different people from many different walks of life. It is an incredibly dynamic and exhausting industry to be in, full of high and low points- a microcosm of how we can experience life as a whole. Hospitality has given me such a love for the richness of people. How unique we are, how differently we all react to stress and the importance of connection and wellbeing in our lives.

In regards to my counselling approach, I love to work creatively through imagery and metaphor to really connect to your internal world. I enjoy working with body processes, to really encourage a deep understanding of feelings such as anxiety and depression.

My Private Practice.

My private practice is based in Godalming and Waverley, Surrey within The Eaves, where I offer face-to-face either open ended or short-term counselling, depending on your needs.

I work with adults as well as young people aged 16 – 18.

I also offer sessions via Zoom and Walk and Talk Sessions.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by the ethical framework and complaints procedures of this professional body.
I undertake continuous professional development which enables me to develop and further my skills.
I attend regular supervision to manage my caseload and to ensure I am working to the best of my ability.

I hold a current Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
